Comprehensive & Personalized Guidance

Former AP English teacher and certified project manager with over a decade of experiencing supporting students and families in college applications.

Think like a college admissions officer. Every college admissions decision comes down to just two simple questions:

Are you a good fit for each other?

Can you change the world one day?

You have a unique story to tell.

Be yourself. A significant source of stress comes from the feeling of competition or needing to measure up to some lofty unknown standard. But you need to tell your own story, not one you think someone else wants to hear. This honesty is difficult to achieve but liberating to pursue. Only by honestly telling your own story can the fit between you and the college be honestly evaluated. The ultimate goal is to attend a college whose culture and environment can help you thrive.

Develop your passion.

You will have many different passions throughout your life, and your ability to nurture and develop those passions at each life stage will determine how impactful you can be. This is why colleges care so much about passion. They want to see you demonstrate the skill of passion development so they can imagine what you can do with your college education.
